Job Description - Health Coordinator

This position is partially or fully grant funded. Employment beyond the term of the grant award may be subject to approval by Executive Council.


 


This position may also be a Grant Representative, meaning you will be responsible for maintaining grant requirements, including, timely project implementation, preparation of reports, budget management and documentation, analysis of data that supports the execution of the grant(s), and assisting the Grants Department in seeking future funding.


 


Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:



  • Planning and monitoring of employee vaccine program; Administration of influenza, Covid 19, and other vaccines

  • Monitors communicable disease transmission of Health Division employees during pandemics and other disease outbreaks

  • Onboards new employees and performs health assessments, and assesses occupational health needs

  • Collaborates with clinicians and employee on workmen’s compensation illness and/or injury situations

  • Manages employee safety program; performs respiratory FIT tests, assures employee is equipped with appropriate PPE for standard operations, outbreaks, and pandemics.

  • Utilizes the Centers for Disease Control and the Wisconsin Department of Health guidelines in practice and policy

  • Creates and updates employee health related policies and/or SOP’s.

  • Provides patient care in the Family Practice clinic during staffing needs


What you’ll need to be successful:



  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.

  • 1-2 years of previous experience in Employee Health, Public Health, or Occupational health

  • Possesses and maintains Registered Nurse license provided by the State of WI; current BLS certification

  • Ability to conduct public speaking and classroom educational sessions

  • Excellent peer relations and communications skills

  • Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens

  • FCP complies with all CMS Mandates & all Health Division employees must receive the COVID-19 vaccine prior to hire. Additional immunization requirements may also be necessary.

  • Ability to multi-task and identify priorities

  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word
