Health Equity Integration Manager

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree required

• MHA, MPH, MBA, MSN or advanced degree with major coursework in healthcare management preferred

Experience:

• 3+ years relevant experience in a healthcare environment

• Demonstrated technical expertise in analytics and visualization tools such as Qlik, Tableau

• Demonstrated previous experience in health equity, health improvement, health disparity reduction or related field.

The Health Equity Integration Manager is instrumental in leading system-wide health equity initiatives which improve outcomes, reduce disparities, and enhance a culture of health equity. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Operationalization and Communication of Equity

• Supports the creation and monitoring of strategic health equity objectives across the system to optimize performance/results

• Leads various Health Equity committees and workgroups with key constituents to build relationships and share best practices and health equity tactics.

• Works across a matrixed organization to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, standardization, and health disparity reduction.

• Identifies communications strategies for dissemination of equitable outcomes research and recommendations.

Strategic Partnership and Collaboration

• Partners with diverse teams and leaders across the organization on system-wide health equity programs and initiatives.

• Consults leaders and stakeholders across HHC as a health equity subject matter expert

• Works collaboratively across initiative stakeholders to establish roles and responsibilities, effectively manage project expectations, communicate results, mitigate risks, and resolve issues.

• Supports the development of the system’s health equity work

• Participates in other community outreach activities and initiatives as required

Health Equity Research and Reporting

• Aggregates and assists with the analysis of internal and external health equity data.

• Contributes to health equity sections of internal and external reports.

• Assists in benchmarking and strategic planning analysis.

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams on health equity research and publications
