Health Info Management Manager

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. 

Responsible for managing and directing efforts of personnel in all aspects of the Health Information Management Department. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.    Other related duties as assigned

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Associate’s Degree in a health related field from an accredited school or college.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Management from an accredited college or university
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years experience working in an acute care Health Information Management Department or similar health care setting.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated leadership experience in an Health Information Management department or similar health care setting.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): NA
