For more than 50 years, St. Anthony North Hospital has delivered optimal health care to the communities of Westminster, Erie, Brighton, Broomfield, Northglenn and Thornton. Highlights of our campus include 60,000 square feet of integrated primary and specialty care physician clinics, ambulatory surgery center, birthing center with private birthing suites, Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 emergency services, over 150 inpatient beds and an outpatient diagnostics center with lab and imaging services. This is an entry level position that is responsible for day-to-day activities of collecting discharged records, prepping, and scanning into the electronic medical record and/or other designated systems. A qualified candidate is expected to verify the correct patient’s medical record and account numbers are assigned to each document in the electronic medical record. Perform all assigned duties in a timely manner so the medical record is accessible for treatment, payment and healthcare operations. The Tech I applicant is also required to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of protected health information and adhere to the policies that govern the Health Information Management department. A successful applicant actively seeks to promote and help maintain a professional, team-oriented, service-conscious environment, which contributes to the goals of the department and reflects on the values of the system.









Job Requirements






In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate's Degree, Preferred. Enrolled in a related healthcare degree program preferred
  • 1 year healthcare work experience with an electronic health record OR 1 year completed in an accredited HIM program
  • Proficient in medical terminology, preferred
  • Basic computer skills preferred

Physical Requirements - Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
