What You’ll Do

As a Health Unit Coordinator, you’ll play a key role
in ensuring efficient day -to -day unit operations by supporting nursing staff
and facilitating seamless communication between patients, providers and
internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process, transcribe, and
  distribute physician orders
  
• Maintain and update patient
  records, including admissions, transfers, and discharges
  
• Serve as a communication hub
  between providers, nurses, patients, and external contacts
  
• Support daily administrative
  operations including answering phones, faxing, filing, and coordinating
  documentation
  
• Help ensure timely, organized
  workflows that support quality patient care
  
• Maintain strict confidentiality and
  uphold hospital policies and compliance standards

can multitask effectively while maintaining a compassionate and professional

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a
  hospital, healthcare, or clinical environment preferred
  
• Knowledge of medical terminology
  strongly preferred
  
• Previous administrative, clerical,
  receptionist, or healthcare support experience required
  
• Excellent communication,
  organization, and time -management skills
  
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and
  detail -oriented in a fast -paced environment
  
• Team -oriented mindset with a strong
  commitment to patient support and operational excellence
