of Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics in Charleston, SC

We are actively
seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanics to become integral members of our
team based in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will specialize in the repair
of reach stackers, diesel heavy -duty forklifts, and construction equipment. As
a pivotal contributor to our maintenance team, you will be instrumental in
ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our fleet of heavy -duty
equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics to identify issues and perform
  necessary repairs on a range of heavy equipment, including forklifts, rail
  movers, and reach stackers.
  
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and inspections to
  uphold equipment longevity and optimal performance.
  
• Investigate and efficiently resolve complex mechanical and
  electrical problems, minimizing equipment downtime.
  
• Replace faulty or worn -out components, ensuring the use of
  high -quality parts and adherence to manufacturer specifications.
  
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and all maintenance
  activities to contribute to comprehensive equipment history files.
  
• Conduct test drives post -repairs to validate the effectiveness of
  maintenance work, ensuring that equipment meets operational standards.
  

Requirements:

• Must have an in -depth understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and
  electrical components.
  
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve
  complex mechanical issues.
  
• Proficient with OEM computer diagnostic software programs.
  
• Welding and fabrication experience.
  
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and adapt to various
  weather conditions.
  
• Must have your own set of tools.
  
• Should have a valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  
• Must be ability to clear a criminal record check and drug screen.
  

Compensation:

•  $35 - $45/hr.,
  plus bonus.
  
• Comprehensive

Shift:

Day Shift, 7:00
AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Lots of overtime
available and paid after 8 hours daily.
