Job Description - Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics across the Asheville, NC region. Working with a large Paving and Construction outfitter, completing maintenance and repairs to Earth -Moving Machinery, Asphalt Pavers, Scrapers and Compactors. An opportunity to work with an experienced team of technicians, including ample overtime potential.

Compensation:

$35.00 - $50.00/hour
$4.00/hour premium for Paving Technicians
$2.00/hour premium for Field Technicians
Service Truck (Take Home)
Comprehensive Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)
Full Training & Certification Program, Uniforms, Tool Allowance
Relocation Assistance available $5K -$10K depending on experience

Shift/Schedule:

Monday to Friday + OT
7:30am Start Times, 8 -10/hour day
Mobile Dispatch/Windshield time for Field Technicians

Requirements:

5+ Years Heavy Equipment Mechanic experience
Comfortable with Hydraulics, Diagnostics, Electrical and Engine repairs
Previous CAT experience, and Paving Equipment a strong asset
Own Tools, Valid Drivers License (CDL not needed)
Successful Candidates will be subject to background checks & screening
