Williams Civil Construction is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators to join our Heavy Civil team for a project in Havre, Montana. This role will support utilities, site development, and heavy civil construction work alongside our traveling crew, with the opportunity to continue traveling with the team to future projects after the Havre project is complete.
If you’re comfortable in the seat of a dozer, excavator, loader, backhoe, or other yellow iron, and know how to get the job done safely and efficiently, apply today!


What You’ll Do:

• Operate equipment like excavators, dozers, loaders, blades, haul trucks, and water trucks


• Work on a variety of projects including utilities, grading, and site prep


• Identify and avoid underground utilities before digging


• Adjust to changing job site conditions and solve problems as they come up


• Keep basic time and material records


• Travel from interstate highway to rural dirt roads from various locations


• Most importantly: look out for your crew and keep safety top of mind
  

What You Bring:

• Experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting


• Understanding of trenching and shoring basics


• Familiarity with materials (aggregates, load weights, etc.)


• Ability to follow instructions and communicate with your team


• Basic math skills for measurements and quantities


• A strong work ethic and willingness to adapt day-to-day

What Williams Civil Construction Offers:

• 
  This is a prevailing wage project with a pay rate of $55.42/hr plus $150/Day Per Diem (as applicable to location and contract).
