POSITION SUMMARY

The Heavy Equipment Operator III safely operates support equipment while learning advanced construction techniques and building the skills necessary to advance within Geotex.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate compactors, skid steers, off-road trucks, tractors, rollers, and rubber tire hoes.
• Assist crews with site development and utility work.
• Perform daily equipment inspections.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe condition.
• Follow direction from Foremen and senior operators.
• Support production activities on active construction sites.
• Demonstrate teamwork and a positive attitude.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous equipment operation experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred:
• Site development experience.
• Utility construction experience.
• OSHA certifications.

COMPENSATION

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Overtime opportunities available.
