Heavy Truck Alignment Technician STM 613

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform wheel alignments on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles


• Inspect steering and suspension components for wear and damage


• Diagnose alignment issues and recommend necessary repairs


• Adjust axles, camber, caster, and toe settings to manufacturer specifications


• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections


• Operate alignment machines and other diagnostic equipment


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment


• Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations


• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding needed repairs

Skills / Requirements:

• Previous experience with heavy truck alignments preferred


• Strong knowledge of steering and suspension systems


• Ability to use alignment equipment and diagnostic tools


• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)


• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs. and perform physical labor


• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic


• Must be available on weekends and holidays
