Heavy Truck Technician - Congers, NY

Our customer is looking for a Heavy Truck Technician with strong electrical diagnostics experience to join their dynamic team in Congers, NY. ABOUT YOU:

The ideal candidate would have 3+ years' experience working with diesel repair.   This role offers the opportunity to work on specialized emergency vehicles, perform critical repairs, and develop your skills through ongoing training.

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and other heavy-duty systems on emergency vehicles
• Conduct vehicle maintenance including tire service, shocks & struts, wheel alignments, and electrical diagnostics
• Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues
• Fabricate or modify parts using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques as needed
• Follow safety protocols diligently while performing repairs and maintenance tasks
• Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately in service records
