Job Description
- Set up, operate, and maintain Heidelberg XL105/106 offset printing presses
- Perform press make-readies, including plate mounting, ink adjustments, and registration alignment
- Monitor print quality throughout production runs, making necessary adjustments to maintain consistency
- Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs to ensure optimal press performance
- Collaborate with prepress and finishing departments to ensure seamless workflow
- Maintain accurate production records and quality control documentation
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment
- Troubleshoot press issues and escalate complex problems to maintenance or supervisory staff
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating Heidelberg XL105 or XL106 presses
- Strong understanding of offset printing processes, color theory, and press mechanics
- Ability to read and interpret job tickets, proofs, and production schedules
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in print production preferred
