Average Daily Volume: 10 -15 (OP)

Trauma Level: III
EMR System: EPIC
Specialty Backup Available: Radiation Oncology
Physicians in Practice: 3
Support Staff Available: 2 APPs

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology (Required)
Licenses: Active OR license (Highly Preferred)
DEA: Active DEA certification (Required)
Other Qualifications: Clean background/no malpractice (Highly Preferred), Self -Query NPDB within the month (Required)

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide outpatient hematology/oncology care, seeing 10 -15 patients per day
Participate in 1:4 call rotation, covering 7 days of call including one weekend per month
Round on inpatients admitted for chemotherapy
Collaborate with radiation oncologists and APPs
Utilize EPIC EMR for clinical documentation and order entry
