Kamehameha Schools Kapālama Campus is looking for a High School Assistant to be the welcoming and reliable point of contact in the ʻAkahi Student Center, supporting daily office operations, and ensuring a smooth, student‑centered experience for all who enter the space. This role provides direct assistance to haumāna by issuing student ID cards, coordinating parking permits, and offering responsive support to student needs throughout the day.
This position will also manage phone calls, respond to emails, review fundraising requests, and assist visitors with professionalism and aloha. They also maintain and update the high school Canvas pages, ensuring timely and accurate communication with students, staff, and families. With a focus on collaboration, organization, and service, this position contributes to a positive, efficient, and welcoming environment that supports the overall mission of the high school.
Job Summary
Provides general clerical assistance to the unit office and may have a large focus on tracking and following up on student attendance. Also, responsible for assisting with the office inventory, answering of phones/taking messages and responding to inquiries as needed.
