System Requirements
Applicants must have at least one year of experience in the use and maintenance of a variety of hand-held and heavy power operated tools and equipment, and general landscape, maintenance or construction experience.
Incumbents are required to have a current and valid Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver’s License (CDL), Class B and valid Hoisting Engineers License, Class 2B and 4G*.
* Applicants who possess a CDL will be given six months from their time of hire to obtain the necessary hoisting licenses.
This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to Federal DOT drug and alcohol testing.

Duties & Responsibilities
Locations available are as follows. As part of the application process, you will be asked to choose your first and second choices.
• District 1 - Berkshire County/Western, MA
• District 2 - Connecticut River Valley/Western, MA
• District 3 - Worcester County/Central, MA
• District 4 - North Eastern, MA
• District 5 - South Eastern, MA & Cape Cod
• District 6 - Metro Boston, MA
Employees assigned to District 6 will work overnight shifts. Employees who work overnight shifts received a shift differential per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Employees will be expected to work varied shifts and/or irregular hours (i.e.\: weekends, holidays, nights, etc.) and ability to respond, either directly or through others, to emergencies including extended hours, nights and weekends.
