During your 60 days of on time job performance, you will have the opportunity to showcase your leadership skills while working on various home improvement projects ranging from renovations, repairs, installations, to general maintenance to show your leadership skills to be a premiere installer that we can rely on for Spring and Summer installs making big money while sharing in the profits retained by ImproveIT Renovations by your hard work.

We aim only to be the biggest and best Handyman team in and around Knoxville. We are a family ran company that specializes in great service, customer satisfaction, and affordable home improvements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading jobs assigned by the owner and Project Lead of ImproveIT Renovations by using your skills to get the job done while using your leadership talents to motivate the team assigned to you or your team, teaching skills that you know.
  
• Managing your assigned crew to perform jobs, task and checklist assigned to the job in a productive motivation of teaching and improving efficiency by executing home improvement projects according to client specifications.
  

In addition, you will also:

• Ensure that projects are completed within established timelines and budget constraints.
  
• Coordinate with the homeowner to ensure smooth project coordination and timely delivery.
  
• Provide guidance, training, and support to crew members to enhance their skills and performance.
  
• Conduct regular inspections of your assigned checklist to ensure work is being carried out in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and any changes made during the construction process.
  
• Identify potential issues or obstacles that may impact project timelines or budgets and proactively address them.
  
• Uphold high levels of professionalism, customer service, and communication throughout all interactions with clients.
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a current handyman or home improvement pro that works for himself, crew leader, or foreman in the home improvement industry is highly preferred.
  
• Extensive knowledge of various home improvement trades such as carpentry, drywall, flooring, plumbing, electrical work, painting, etc.
  
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast -paced environment.
  
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of laborers.
  
• Excellent problem -solving skills with an attention to detail for identifying issues before they become problems.
  
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (bilingual communication in Spanish and English preferred.
  
• Must have your own tools and equipment necessary for the job, it proves you are the one that can handle responsibility.
  

All Crews, Individuals and Employees of ImproveIT Renovations make money, which is why we only work with honest, drug free, meth free, heroine free and pill free individuals and crews. We provide workman's compensation. We W2 but will 1099 with provable insurance and workman's comp insurance. All W2 and 1099 employees are subject to a drug test at any time. We do not tolerate being under the influence on a job site of illegal drugs or any alcohol consumption while working.

You will be required to sign a Non -Disclosure and Non -Compete Agreement at the time of contract/hire.
