Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking RN ER for a 13-week travel/contract positions in Coos Bay, OR. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Position Details:

Pay Rate: Range $2232 to $2268 Weekly Gross pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: ER/ED

Shifts available: Nights

Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 Shifts per week, including weekends

Position Requirements:

• Current ER/ED Nursing experience: 2 years - Required
  


• Current Acute Care Hospital experience: Recent with past 2 years - Required
  


• Prior travel experience: Highly preferred
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ASN - Required
  


• BSN – Preferred
  


• RN License for State of Oregon - Required (Can be obtained upon offer)
  


• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Certification - Required (Can be obtained upon offer)
  

Job Description:

• Coordinates total nursing care for patients in the clinical setting for ER/ED departments within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients.
  


• Provides teaching for patients and significant others.
  


• Participates in treatment team meetings and administers medication and prescribed treatments
  


• Exhibits critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  


• Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
  


• Documents patient care in the medical record.
  


• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall care of the patient effectively.
