Home Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Attendant to provide exceptional care and support to our clients in Hartland, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence in a home environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Assist with light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organizing


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals


• Support clients with mobility and transfer as needed


• Follow care plans and ensure client safety at all times


• Communicate effectively with clients’ families and the care team

Requirements

• Prior experience in home care or healthcare is an advantage but not required


• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality


• Ability to follow instructions and work independently


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes


• Ability to pass background checks
