Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to join our team in Clinton Township, MI. This role involves providing quality in-home care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will be attentive, reliable, and committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those they serve.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.


• Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors or healthcare professionals.


• Ensure clients’ safety by adhering to all established protocols and guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field is an asset, but NOT required.


• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Clinton Township, MI is a plus.


• Ability to pass background checks.
