Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to join our team in Wayne, MI. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervisory staff.


• Accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.


• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field is an asset.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and reliably.


• Must be able to pass background.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
