Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to join our team in Brighton, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily activities to promote independence and improve quality of life. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed


• Support clients with mobility and transfers safely


• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and errands


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors


• Follow care plans and adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is an asset


• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations


• Ability to pass background checks


• Flexible availability to accommodate various client schedules
