Home Care Billing Specialist

Rehab at Home Healthcare Services is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Home Care Billing Specialist to join our growing team in Arlington, Texas. This position is responsible for managing billing functions, claims processing, payment posting, and insurance follow-up to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for home health services.

Position Details

• Job Title: Home Care Billing Specialist
• Location: Arlington Office (2301 W. Lamar Blvd, Arlington, TX 76012)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
• Pay: $22.00 per hour

Daily Responsibilities

• Adjudicate EVV visits in KanTime
• Approve clinician timesheets in KanTime
• Create and submit Managed Care claims
• Process Episodic NOAs and Final Claims
• Submit Secondary Insurance and Private Pay claims
• Resolve claim deficiencies and clearinghouse errors
• Post insurance and patient payments accurately
• Investigate, appeal, and correct denied or unpaid claims
• Maintain and update billing tracking reports

Weekly Responsibilities

• Review Medicare claim status through DDE (Medicare Fiscal Intermediary System)
• Contact private pay patients regarding outstanding balances, deductibles, and coinsurance amounts
• Post payments and reconcile billing records
• Verify EVV setup and compliance for all applicable patients

Monthly Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the billing team to resolve outstanding claims
• Assist with departmental projects and additional billing tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous medical billing experience preferred
• Home health billing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Private Insurance billing preferred
• Familiarity with KanTime or similar EMR systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
