Client looking for the perfect caregiver match! Now hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a specific home care client that lives on the west side of Chicago. Availability needed for Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8am-3pm ongoing (possible added hours in the future other client hours available for pick up as well). CNAs preferred with recent hospital or long term care experience. May be required to wear a mask in the home. No pets in the home. Client hours start July 1st!! Client is very sweet and intelligent, and looking for a caregiver that's a great listener for her many stories!

Responsibilities
Providing care as directed by a nursing supervisor, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, taking and recording vital signs, and assisting with height and weight measurements, if necessary
Providing care according to the patient’s plan of care, assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping
Requirements
A current, valid state CNA certification and in good standing
High school diploma or GED
Successful completion of a nursing assistant program
Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Recent Physical
Minimum one (1) year of documented recent caregiver experience is required
- Experience working in a hospital or long term care facility preferred for this client
Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
