Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide exceptional in-home care services to clients in Ann Arbor, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being, and fostering a supportive and respectful environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely within their homes.


• Prepare and serve meals according to client dietary needs.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting social interaction.


• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisory staff.


• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related healthcare fields is a plus but not needed.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately.


• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes within Ann Arbor, MI.


• A compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients.
