Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide quality care and support to clients in the Fort Gratiot, MI area. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities to help them maintain independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene


• Help clients with mobility and transferring as needed


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment


• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors


• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus but not required


• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members


• Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes in Fort Gratiot, MI


• Ability to pass background checks and meet company hiring standards


• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
