Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide quality in-home care services to our clients in Salem, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities while promoting independence, safety, and well-being in a supportive and respectful manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Provide support with meal preparation and feeding as required.


• Help clients with mobility, including transferring and ambulation.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any significant changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Follow care plans and adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field is an asset but not required.


• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy.


• Reliable transportation to travel within Salem, MI.


• Ability to pass background checks.


• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and perform light housekeeping.
