Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide exceptional in-home care services to our clients in Brighton, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to help them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Assist with mobility and transferring as needed.


• Help with light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and medication reminders.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and adhere to care plans.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field preferred.


• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations.


• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.


• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.


• Basic knowledge of health and safety standards.
