Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide exceptional in-home support to our clients in Inkster, MI. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for individuals by assisting with daily living activities and providing companionship in a respectful and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Support clients with mobility and transferring


• Help with medication reminders and health monitoring as needed


• Prepare meals and assist with feeding


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals


• Report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not required


• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient personality


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred


• Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required
