Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide exceptional care and support to our clients in Auburn Hills, MI. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who require assistance with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Assist with mobility and transferring clients safely.


• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing.


• Monitor and report any changes in client’s health or behavior to the supervisor.


• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and client condition.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus.


• Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy towards clients.


• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.


• Ability to pass background checks.
