HHA Responsibilities 

As a Home Health Aide (HHA), you will: 

• 
  

  Provide one-on-one personal care for seniors in their homes. 

  
  

• 
  

  Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene. 

  
  

• 
  

  Help with mobility, transfers, and walking assistance. 

  
  

• 
  

  Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed. 

  
  

• 
  

  Perform light housekeeping and laundry. 

  
  

• 
  

  Provide medication reminders. 

  
  

• 
  

  Offer companionship and emotional support. 

  
  

• 
  

  Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation when appropriate. 

  
  

• 
  

  Help clients maintain a safe, comfortable, and independent lifestyle. 

  
  

HHA Requirements 

• 
  

  Massachusetts Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred. 

  
  

• 
  

  Previous experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) is a plus but not required. 

  
  

• 
  

  Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude. 

  
  

• 
  

  Reliable transportation preferred. 

  
  

• 
  

  Ability to pass a background check. 

  
  

• 
  

  Excellent communication and caregiving skills.
