Always Best Care Senior Services of Hampton Roads is a company dedicated to providing exceptional personal care services to seniors in their homes.  

We provide HOME HEALTH services throughout Hampton Roads and are looking for Personal Care Aides, Nursing Aides, Certified Nursing Aides, and current nursing students who want to make a difference in their community and gain experience with geriatrics care. 

Our Caregivers are responsible for caring to clients in their homes.  

Some of the general duties and responsibilities include:

• Assisting with ADL & IADL
• Promoting Safety and Health
• Documentation of Services Provided
• Reporting changes to team

All our Caregivers meet the following professional qualifications. 

• High school diploma/GED required

AND

• Successfully completion of 1 or more of the following programs from an accredited institution. 

1. Personal Care Aide (PCA) program
2. Nursing Assistant (NA) program, certification with DHP preferred (CNA)
3. Current Nursing Program with the completion of Fundamentals of Nursing I & II

In addition, our Caregivers

• Must have a CURRENT PPD/TB test or assessment (within last year)
• Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team.
• Ability to perform a variety of duties characterized by frequent change.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check as well as pass a drug screening.
• Maintains current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Alzheimer’s/Dementia experience preferred, but not required

ABCSS offers competitive pay, personal growth and ongoing career development.  **Various hours and shifts available, pay rates depend on client's needs and training level. Pay and shift availability will be discussed at interview only, not on phone.**   

**Pay rates range from $7.50 to $15.00 per hour, depending on client and qualifications.**
