Home Health Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Workers in Pontiac, MI. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed health care routines.


• Monitor and report any changes in the client’s health condition to nursing staff or supervisors.


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting a positive and safe environment.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations during visits.


• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home health care or a related field is a plus but not required.


• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy and patience.


• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in the Pontiac, MI area.


• Willingness to undergo background checks and comply with health and safety standards.


• Flexible availability to accommodate client scheduling needs.
