How you will make an impact: 

As a Home Maker (CNA), you will make a significant impact by delighting the seniors that visit the day club by assisting them with companionship, life-enriching activities, personal cares as needed, as well as assisting with dishes, serving, light housekeeping, and light laundry. Adult day clubs provide a safe, comfortable environment for seniors who need assistance for part of the day, often alleviating a family caregiver’s responsibility for a few hours. You will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the seniors and their family members as well by promoting holistic valuable support services.

Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM. Must have some flexibility to cover hours between 7am and 6pm. No evenings and weekends.

What you will need: 

• Must have a high school diploma or a G.E.D.
• A certified nursing assistant (CNA) certificate for the state of Illinois is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Caregiver or CNA is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Universal CNA
