Honda Service Advisor

Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite) | Type: Full Time | Salary Range: $80,000 - $180,000

Schedule: Monday - Saturday | Sundays off with another day off mid-week.

What You’ll Do:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive in the Service Drive 


• Listen to customers and understand their vehicle concerns and service needs


• Recommend appropriate maintenance, repairs, and additional services


• Write accurate and detailed repair orders based on the customer’s concerns and the technician’s inspection


• Clearly communicate recommended repairs, costs, and timelines to customers


• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process and provide timely updates


• Communicate any changes to the repair order and obtain necessary approvals


• Work closely with technicians and other Service Department team members to ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently


• Review quality control reports and work to maintain a high Customer Service Index (CSI) score


• Process customer payments and other monetary transactions


• Follow up with customers to ensure they are satisfied with their service experience


• Maintain a professional, organized, and customer-focused approach in a fast-paced environment

What You’ll Need:

• Previous Service Advisor experience in an automotive dealership 


• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record


• Excellent communication, listening, and customer service skills


• Ability to build trust and establish strong relationships with customers


• Positive, creative, and team-oriented attitude


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Ability to analyze situations and make sound, win-win business decisions


• Honest, empathetic, and professional approach


• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team


• Strong follow-up skills and ability to manage multiple repair orders at once
