Hospice LPN/LVN Runner

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a hospice licensed practical/vocational nurse (LPN/LVN), you will provide compassionate nursing care that helps patients remain comfortable throughout their end-of-life journey.

You will:

• Provide skilled nursing care based on each patient’s individualized plan of care


• Administer medications and treatments and monitor patient response


• Identify and communicate changes in a patient’s condition


• Educate and support patients and families with medications, medical equipment and care needs


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

WHERE YOU’LL WORK

Depending on your assignment, you may provide care in patients’ homes, assisted living/skilled nursing facilities or other hospice care settings.

Some roles may include travel within an assigned service area, on-call responsibilities or after-hours patient and family support.

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of an approved practical or vocational nursing program


• Current LPN/LVN license in the state where you will practice


• At least one year of nursing experience; hospice, home health, hospital or community health experience preferred


• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and required auto insurance for roles providing in-person care

Additional licensure may be required for certain telephonic or after-hours assignments.
