Hospital Admissions Rep FT-Urgent Care

Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute is a physician-owned, orthopedic hospital, serving the Kansas City area for 25 years.

Are you a go getter that loves helping people? We’re looking for professionals who will promote a high level of customer service and a caring environment to serve our Urgent Care patients.

• Must be available to work any shift between 6:15am-7:30/8:00pm, Monday-Friday.


• Must be flexible to cover Hospital and MRI admissions.


• Must work one weekend per month and overtime (Saturdays 7:15am-4:00pm & Sundays 9:30am-4:00pm).

Pay: $20 per hour.

Our Admissions Reps use whiteboard/dashboard/ER Express and or phone for notification of patient arrival/status. Responsibilities include:

• Opening and closing duties


• Greeting and registering patients


• Pre-registration


• Scheduling appointments


• Insurance Verifications


• Collecting and posting copays and deductibles


• Tracking visits and authorizations


• Preparing admissions paperwork


• Admitting patients

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
