Job Description - Hospitality Team Member

At Chick-fil-A Forum Shopping Center, the Team Member Hospitality role is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to grow. In addition to working directly for an independent Owner/Operator and the leaders of the organization, Hospitality Team Members gain life experience that goes far beyond serving a great product in a friendly environment. Team Members are responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for everyone they serve each day and for ensuring all guests receive signature Chick-fil-A service and food.

Hospitality Team Member Responsibilities:

  • Honor and encourage others to follow the vision and values of the Restaurant
  • Core 4: Smile, create and maintain eye contact, speak enthusiastically, make emotional connections with guests, say my pleasure.
  • Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
  • Receive guests: Warm Welcome
  • Take orders: Inside and outside
  • Repeat orders to ensure accuracy
  • Fond farewell
  • Making beverages
  • Meal assembly: Bagging
  • Meal delivery: Serving
  • 2nd Mile: Perform table touch-ins: Refresh beverages, clear tables from trash
  • Dining room cleanliness, restocking, trash.
  • Clean all quadrants of the business.
  • Stock and sanitize areas.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Work on their feet for several hours at a time. 6-8 hrs.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Sense of Urgency, Multitask quickly, yet thoroughly
  • Consistency and reliability
  • Cheerful and positive attitude
  • Loves serving and helping others
  • Customer service oriented
  • Strong interpersonal, soft skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Able to multi-task
  • Works well independently and in a team environment
  • Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule
  • Have the ability to lift and carry 25-30 lbs on a regular basis
  • Have the ability to stand for long periods of time
