Blu Ocean Grille is seeking a friendly, organized, and guest-focused Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival


• Manage reservations and waitlists using our online system 


• Seat guests in a timely manner


• Maintain clear communication with servers, managers, and kitchen staff


• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide accurate information about the restaurant


• Monitor dining room flow and adjust seating to ensure efficiency


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of areas 


• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests. 

Qualifications:

Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred but not needed. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor


• Ability to stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment


• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude


• Availability to possibly work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
