Host/Hostess

Job Brief: A Host or Hostess makes sure that their guests feel welcomed, cared for, and valued.

Responsibilities:The Host/Hostess is responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience for restaurant guests.

• Greet customers and provide them with seating information
• Answer phone calls to take reservations and answer inquiries
• Provide customers with menus and specials information
• Keep the dining area clean and organized
• Assist servers in managing customer requests
• Monitor guest satisfaction while they are dining

Skills Required:

• Friendly, outgoing personality
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage menu items
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Previous hosting or customer service experience preferred
