THE TYPE OF HOTEL BREAKFAST ATTENDANT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)


• Strong customer service and communication skills


• Ability to organize, plan ahead, and manage workload effectively


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment


• Ability to perform duties with attention to detail, efficiency, and under time constraints


• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift


• Ability to push and pull up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 20 lbs.


• Ability to adjust to changing priorities and complete multiple assignments despite interruptions


• Ability to maintain a Food Handler's Certification


• Ability to work both cohesively with coworkers and independently with minimal supervision

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR HOTEL BREAKFAST ATTENDANT

This is a full-time hospitality position that requires flexibility and adherence to early morning start times. Weekend availability is required, and candidates should be comfortable working a schedule that supports hotel breakfast service operations.

As a Hotel Breakfast Attendant, you will prepare and display breakfast items according to brand standards and ensure the breakfast area is clean, inviting, and fully stocked for guests. You will greet guests in a pleasant and courteous manner, provide information about local attractions and venues, and strive to deliver excellent customer service throughout your shift. You will replenish food and beverage items as needed, bus and sanitize tables, sweep floors, and maintain proper food handling practices while following all health and safety procedures. Throughout the day, you will monitor inventory levels, communicate shortages, assist with inventory counts, and help ensure breakfast supplies are available to meet hotel forecasts. You will also respond professionally to guest comments and suggestions, maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment, complete required training, follow hotel security procedures, and properly clean and reset the breakfast area after service.
