Hotel Houseman

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Houseman to support the housekeeping team at a busy hotel. This position plays an important role in keeping guest areas, hallways, common spaces, and housekeeping operations clean, organized, and fully stocked.

The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, team-oriented, and willing to assist wherever needed to help maintain a clean and welcoming hotel environment.

Responsibilities

  Assist housekeeping staff with daily cleaning and room turnover needs
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Deliver linens, towels, toiletries, and other supplies to guest rooms and housekeeping areas
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Remove trash, dirty linens, and other materials from guest floors
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, elevators, lobbies, and other common areas
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Vacuum, sweep, mop, and clean designated hotel areas
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Restock housekeeping carts, supply rooms, and linen closets
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with moving furniture, mattresses, or other hotel items as needed
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Respond to guest and housekeeping requests in a professional and timely manner
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, or safety hazards to management
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Follow hotel cleanliness, sanitation, and safety procedures
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with additional housekeeping or hotel duties as assigned
  
  

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  Previous hotel, housekeeping, janitorial, maintenance, or general labor experience is preferred but not required
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Must be dependable and have reliable attendance
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to lift approximately 25–50 pounds as needed

  Comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment
