ARK Hospitality is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Hotel Sales Manager to support two properties in the Canonsburg and Washington County, Pennsylvania markets:
- Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pittsburgh SW – Southpointe
- Suburban Studios Washington
This role is responsible for generating new business, developing local account relationships, increasing room-night production, and supporting occupancy and revenue growth across both properties.
The ideal candidate enjoys networking, meeting new people, building business relationships, and creating long-term partnerships that generate repeat business.
This position combines proactive sales activity, account management, community engagement, and strategic business development.

Position Summary
The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for driving top-line revenue growth across both hotels through proactive sales efforts, account development, relationship management, community involvement, and business-generation strategies.
This role focuses heavily on:
- New account acquisition
- Existing account growth
- Corporate relationships
- Extended-stay opportunities
- Group business
- Community networking
- Market penetration
The Sales Manager will work closely with the General Managers and ARK Hospitality sales leadership to execute revenue strategies and maximize hotel performance.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans that drive occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall revenue growth.
- Prospect, solicit, and secure new:
- Corporate accounts
- Government accounts
- Project-based business
- Construction and crew lodging
- Sports and group business
- Extended-stay opportunities
- Relocation and temporary housing clients
- Conduct outside sales calls, client meetings, networking events, and site tours.
- Build and maintain an active sales pipeline.
- Generate new revenue opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship building.
- Negotiate rates and agreements within approved guidelines.
Account Management
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct account reviews and business-development meetings.
- Identify opportunities to increase room-night production and wallet share.
- Develop long-term relationships that create repeat and referral business.
- Coordinate customer visits, hotel tours, and appreciation efforts.
Community & Market Engagement
- Represent both hotels within the community.
- Participate in:
- Chambers of Commerce
- Tourism organizations
- Business networking groups
- Community events
- Economic-development activities
- Build relationships with local demand generators, employers, and community leaders.
- Increase awareness of both properties throughout the local market.
Revenue & Reporting
- Collaborate with hotel leadership on pricing and revenue strategies.
- Review:
- Occupancy performance
- ADR
- RevPAR
- Market share
- Account production
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, prospect activity, forecasts, and sales reports.
- Prepare weekly activity updates and monthly production reporting.
