Position Summary
House Mentor is responsible for providing supervision and oversight to residents residing in their home.
Major Responsibilities
·
· Act as an advocate, educator, mentor, and role model for residents 17-22 years old.
· Attending employee continuing education classes/meetings.
· Discuss needs, progress and concerns with residents.
· Maintain all necessary documentation, record keeping, etc.
· Responsible for managing timelines, scheduling, and coordinating stakeholders(s).
· Must live in resident and follow the same curfew as residents. Time management and attention to detail are important.
· Must be comfortable with maintaining appropriate boundaries and setting limits in working with residents and facilitate resolution of disagreements among residents.
