Job Summary: 

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining office and showroom areas, ensuring cleanliness, stocking supplies, operating cleaning equipment, and performing inspections and special projects as needed.

About The Role: 

• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties, including but not limited to: vacuuming, wiping ledges & counters, mopping, dusting, window cleaning, etc., in company offices, reception, restrooms, kitchens, warehouse, and shipping & receiving office.


• Ensure the showroom and offices are clean, free of dust and debris, including on the floor, ledges and around & behind furniture.


• Care of furnishings, finishes, and delicate surfaces including care of art, marble, wood and other surfaces.


• Stocking, replenishing and supplying facility areas as needed


• Organize and manage inventories of supplies and materials.


• Manage garbage and recycling, ensuring proper disposal practices.


• Operate floor scrubber and other equipment


• Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects


• Understand and adhere to all health and safety policies in the workplace


• Perform and document routine inspections, identifying and reporting maintenance or repair needs.


• Handle general requests and aid in day-to-day operations as needed.


• Other ad hoc duties as required
  

Let's Talk About You: 

• 2- 3 years of prior janitorial / cleaning experience in an office and warehouse setting


• Strong English communication skills; verbal and written


• Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances


• Attention to detail and conscientiousness


• Ability to lift 15-35 lbs, walk, climb stairs, and stand for several hours


• Able to work a flexible shift if needed
