Housekeeper

SUMMARY
Bering Straits Development Company a company within the BSNC family is currently seeking a qualified part-time Housekeeper for the Aurora Inn in Nome, AK.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean rooms/bathrooms


• Clean laundry room


• Keep hallways and stairways clear


• Ensure carts are fully stocked

Required (Minimum) Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Basic Math Skills


• Customer Service


• People Person

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to multi-task


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more


• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Preferred

• Knowledge of OPERA preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

Job is performed in a hotel, both inside and outside of the building.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• No supervisory responsibilities.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
