Job Description - Housekeeping

Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and reporting any safety hazards to the homeowner or manager in charge. They must complete tasks like vacuuming, sweeping, emptying trash cans, dusting shelves, cleaning windows, and mopping floors.

Age of Patient Population Served:  Adult (18 & older)


 


Population Served:  Persons meeting DSM5 criteria for substance use disorders with or without co-occurring psychiatric illness

  • Adheres to all UPRISING ADDICTION CENTER Policies and Procedures


  • Conducts self in a manner that represents UPRISING ADDICTION CENTER values at all times


  • Maintains a positive and respectful attitude with all work-related contacts


  • Communicates regularly with supervisor about departmental and UPRISING ADDICTION CENTER concerns


  • Consistently reports to work on time, prepared to perform the duties of the position


  • Meets productivity standards and performs duties as workload necessitates


 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


 



  • Keep facilities and common areas clean and maintained. Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.

  • Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances.

  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting. Clean and stock restrooms. Clean up spills with appropriate equipment. Collect and dispose of trash.

  • Empties trash and recycling containers
