Job Description - Housekeeping

Housekeeper Duties and Responsibilities:


·         Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details


·         Perform housekeeping chores in Resident rooms


·         Responsible for cleaning common areas of the facility


·         Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas


·         Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times


·         Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds


·         Must be able to work as a team member


·         Solid work ethic, with initiative for quality and customer service


·         Ability to learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment


Housekeeper Qualifications and Skills:


·         High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred


·         Must be Reliable and Keep to a Schedule


·         May Need to Work a Varied Schedule, as requested


·         Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year (Preferred)


·         Healthcare or Commercial Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
