Housekeeping Aide (Per diem)

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team.  

Per Diem Schedule:
This is an as-needed position designed to provide coverage for staffing needs, vacations, and callouts. Flexible availability is preferred. 

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and clinical spaces
• Perform routine housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal
• Follow infection control and safety procedures in accordance with facility guidelines
• Replenish supplies in resident rooms and common areas
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for residents at all times

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care, is a plus
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
• Compassionate and respectful approach when working around elderly and disabled residents
• Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.
• Basic computer skills
