The Clean-Sweep Role

As a Housekeeping Houseman, you keep the behind-the-scenes engine running so guests enjoy a spotless, safe stay—fast, consistent, and performance-driven.

Key responsibilities:
- Refill linen closets with guest amenities and supplies; deliver items directly to room attendants as needed
- Strip departed rooms of linens and trash; empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and waste
- Detail corridors: remove wall/door marks; polish mirrors, room numbers, and elevator doors
- Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers
- Flip mattresses and help move furniture per supervisor direction
- Follow attendance expectations; complete other related duties as assigned

Required skills/qualifications:
- Hotel housekeeping or custodial experience preferred
- Stamina for standing, bending, and stooping; ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Safe handling of cleaning chemicals
- Clear verbal/written communication, teamwork, and guest-service mindset
- Able to follow supervisor instructions

Your Shift Snapshot

When you clock in, grab your checklist, and hit the floors with a quick pace and a sharp eye. Early on, you’re syncing with room attendants to keep the flow smooth as departures roll in. Between radio calls and guest pass-bys, you keep public areas looking boardwalk-ready—quiet efficiency, quick resets, and pride in the details.

As the day picks up, you’ll pivot between tasks as priorities change (this is where accelerated growth comes from). You’ll wrap up by staging supplies for the next wave and handing off updates so the next shift can sprint, not scramble. Schedules flex—expect evenings, weekends, and holidays in the mix.
