Position Summary

One Source Hospitality is seeking a detail-driven, guest-focused Housekeeping Inspector to protect the quality of every guest room and hallway in their assigned section. The Inspector is the final check before a guest walks through the door. They make sure each room is flawless, each hallway is guest-ready, and each Room Attendant and House Attendant has what they need to succeed. The ideal candidate takes genuine pride in their work, delivers gracious and personalized service, and supports their team through clear, encouraging feedback.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, personalized service in every guest interaction. This includes addressing guests by name, offering recommendations or escorting them on property when needed, presenting requested items elegantly, and following all service standards.


• Inspect guest rooms after cleaning and before guest arrival to make sure nothing was missed and every room meets the resort's luxury standards.


• Check rooms after checkout time to confirm whether guests have departed, and update room status accordingly.


• Use the resort's mobile inspection app proficiently to record inspections, update room status, and document findings.


• Give Room Attendants timely feedback, both positive recognition and constructive guidance, to support consistent quality and growth.


• Inspect guest hallways throughout the shift to keep them clean and orderly


• Make sure no trash, linen, dirty dishware, room service trays, or equipment is left in guest view at any time.


• Direct and lead House Attendants in the assigned section, assigning tasks and prioritizing hallway, linen, and trash removal needs.


• Verify at the start of each shift that there are enough supplies, linens, and amenities for the day's needs.


• Confirm that every Room Attendant in the section has the tools, chemicals, and equipment needed to complete their work.


• Step in to help Room Attendants or House Attendants who are falling behind so rooms are ready on time.


• Help train and coach team members on cleaning standards, room presentation, and service expectations.


• Handle guest inconveniences and complaints promptly and graciously.


• Identify and report maintenance issues promptly through the appropriate system and follow up as needed.


• Follow key control, chemical safety, and all resort health, safety, and security policies.


• Report safety hazards or suspicious activity to Security and management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of hotel housekeeping experience as a Room Attendant, House Attendant, Inspector, or Supervisor.


• Availability to work weekends, and holidays.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift (30lb) throughout the shift.
